Academy / The offer and the page that finishes the search

The page and the ad that finish the query · 28 min

The landing block that still says the offer

In this lesson

  • Write H1, sub, CTA, and first field that match the one-liner

Four lines after the click

If the ad said “Used CR-Vs in Frederick — 48-hour test drive,” the page may not open with “Welcome to the family.” H1 repeats the job. Sub repeats the financing decision on approved credit. CTA is Book Saturday or Start the 48-hour test drive — not Learn More. First field is name or preferred time, not a Social Security Number. A spa page books the chair in the first screen. If the SRP cannot show CR-Vs, you do not advertise CR-Vs. You already know this as conversion hygiene; here you are writing the words, not just spotting the break.

Walk Dana’s click out loud

Shopper types used CR-V Frederick. RSA says Used CR-Vs in Frederick / 48-Hour Test Drive. They land. If H1 is Welcome to the family, the first five seconds taught them they clicked the wrong door. Sessions can still rise. Saturday books will not. Write the four lines on paper before you touch color or a hero video. Then read them to a closer: would they say this on the lot without blushing? If they would laugh at “effortless financing for everyone,” cut it. If they would say “come Saturday, take it for 48 hours, we decide credit the same day if you sit with finance before 3,” you have copy. The page is that sentence with a button. Anything else is decoration you add after the four lines exist.

Exercise
