Academy / Email and SMS that may be sent
Sequences that book the next action · 28 min
A three-step sequence, then you stop
In this lesson
- Write day 0 / day 2 / day 5 messages with a kill rule
Three touches, one appointment, then silence
Day 0: confirm what they asked and offer the book word. Day 2: one new fact (still here, Saturday hours, 48-hour test drive) — not a new topic. Day 5: last honest ask, then stop unless they reply. If they BOOK, the sequence dies and a human confirmation takes over. If they STOP, everything dies. If the unit sold, the next text says so and offers a like-kind CUV — or silence if that was not in the original yes. A 21-message “nurture” is how you earn a complaint. Quiet hours still apply on day 2 and day 5.
Email can carry the longer fact
SMS stays short. Email can add the same-day financing sentence and a link to the inventory URL that still matches the CR-V. Do not attach a credit application on first touch. Do not use a tracker that surprises them in the consent sentence. If you do not have the live URL, write “inventory SRP for CUVs” as the type — do not invent a production path from another rooftop.
Why three is a ceiling, not a vibe
Day 0 answers the ask. Day 2 adds one fact they can use (still on the lot, Saturday hours). Day 5 is the last honest ask. A fourth marketing text on the same yes is how STOP arrives and how a carrier filter learns your number. If they reply with a question, that is a new human thread — not a reason to restart a 21-step nurture. If the unit sold, one truth text is enough. Quiet hours still bind every step. Write the ceiling on the sequence sheet so an intern cannot “just add one more.”
Exercise
Build the three-step
Write day 0 / 2 / 5 SMS plus the day-0 email for the CR-V ask. Include kill rules: BOOK, STOP, unit sold.
Deliverable: 3 SMS + 1 email + 3 kill rules.
